What to include in your email
To help sort things out as quickly as possible, it really helps to mention:
- Your device — e.g. iPhone 14, Pixel 7, Samsung Galaxy S23.
- The OS version — e.g. iOS 18.2, Android 14.
- What you were trying to do — the screen you were on and the button you tapped.
- What happened instead — an error message, a blank screen, a crash, or just “the wrong thing”.
- A screenshot, if you can grab one. Worth a thousand words.
Common things people ask about
- The mic button doesn't work. Make sure microphone access is enabled for the app in your device's system Settings, then try pressing and holding the mic button while speaking.
- I'm not getting release-day notifications. Open the app's Settings (the gear icon on the home screen), make sure Notifications are turned on, and check that notifications are also allowed for the app at the system level.
- How do I update the app? Most updates arrive automatically through the App Store / Google Play. For smaller in-between fixes, open Settings → About → Check for updates.
- Where's my watchlist stored? Locally on your device. It's not backed up to a server, so if you uninstall the app or clear its data, the list resets.
